House is situated in a quiet location just off the A6 road which runs
through Ashford, in a situation which has almost no through traffic.
Ashford
in the water is a picturesque village by the river Wye and is
undisputedly one of the most beautiful villages in the Peak District
National Park. Just a few minutes stroll takes you to the centre of
the village where you will find the village stores, local gourmet
pubs and the award winning Riverside Country House restaurant.
Seasonal activities include cricket, fishing and well dressing.
Picturesque
Bakewell is only 1 mile away with its traditional Farmers Market and
individual boutique style shops, fine pubs cafes/restaurants.
Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Castleton and the plague village of
Eyam are close by.
